This beech wood cutting board is suitable for cutting meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, bread, and other ingredients. It can also be used for serving cheese, snacks, and other foods. A juice groove has been routed along the edge of the cutting board to help collect juices and liquids released during cutting, reducing spills onto the countertop. The reverse side is smooth, without a juice groove, and is also suitable for cutting and serving. A round hanging hole in one corner allows the cutting board to be conveniently hung on a wall after use.

The cutting board is made from strong and durable beech wood. The wood's light tones and distinctive grain pattern give the board an attractive appearance. As each piece has its own unique wood grain, the color and pattern may differ slightly from the product photos.

Beech Wood Cutting Board Care

Proper care is essential to maintain the beautiful appearance and durability of a beech wood cutting board.

  • Wash the cutting board by hand with lukewarm water and dishwashing liquid
  • Do not wash the cutting board in the dishwasher or leave it soaking in water for long periods
  • After washing, wipe the cutting board dry and place it in a position that allows air to circulate around both sides, for example, standing upright
  • Clean the juice groove and hanging hole to prevent food residue from accumulating
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive moisture and high temperatures
  • To prevent the wood from drying out, it is recommended to oil the cutting board occasionally

Oiling the Cutting Board

Before oiling, make sure the cutting board is clean and completely dry. Apply a thin layer of food-safe oil to both sides and the edges of the cutting board, including the juice groove. Allow the oil to absorb for at least a couple of hours, then wipe off any excess oil.
